running the print
client, please read

to increase your
success rate for
mobile printing.

You can easily connect to our wireless printing system
from your laptop computer. Below are steps to take in order for
your computer to
successfully print
to the library
printer. However, it
is your
responsibility to
configure your
computer, and the
library does not
gaurantee that this
service will work on
all patron
computers.
1) If you are using Windows
Firewall, enable
File and Print
Sharing as an
exception.
-
This is required
to allow the
print client to
install into
temporary
memory.
- This
is also required
to allow the
library printers
to temporarily
install into
memory.
2) You must
be logged in to your
computer with an
Administrator
account.
3) On
Windows 7 computers,
lower the User
Account Control
settings to "Never
Notify".
4) Enable
the Guest account on
your computer.
Note:
Patrons using 3rd
party firewalls
should ensure that
File and Print
Sharing service is
permitted past their
firewall.
Installation: Click on the link below to
run/download our
printing software. Accept any prompts.
- The print client is installed
temporarily and will be gone from your computer after you close the
program or shut down your laptop.
- You will have to run our
printing software each time you come to the library and want to print
from the wireless network
.
- A client will show up in the taskbar, keep
it open.
- Two
temporary
printers will be
installed on
your computer
and will be
removed after
you close the
program or shut
down your
laptop.
During the print process you will be ask for a user
ID, please enter your last name. This will make it easier to
identify your print jobs.
Your print jobs will be available for pickup at the
Main Desk.
