Coshocton Public Library's Teen Advisory Board
Teens in grades 7-12 meet each month at the library to plan programs, complete volunteer projects, choose materials for the young adult collection, and talk about books. The Teen Advisory Board meetings are held on the last Monday of each month at 4 pm in the large meeting room. Our Teen Advisory Board won a YALSA Excellence in Library Service for Young Adults Award in 2003. A description of our TAB program is published in Excellence in Library Service for Young Adults edited by Renee Vaillancourt McGrath and a $250.00 cash award was used for teen programming. Our Teen Advisory Board is also featured in Library Teen Advisory Boards by Diane P. Tuccillo. If you would like to be a part of the Teen Advisory Board, pick up an application in the Young Adult room of the Coshocton Public Library.
