There is something for EVERYbody at our special TECH OUT! Day.  Coming from the S.E.O. Library Center is a Tech Petting Zoo featuring all kinds of smart devices including FacePortal, Google Home, and Amazon Show, as well as a 3-D printer.  You will also be able to visit other stations:  crafts for kids, a chance to explore other power sources, and an opportunity to try out the cool 3-D pens.

Registration is not required.

An Afternoon of Poetry and Qigong

Join us at the Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum when Robin Mullet and Holli Rainwater will share readings and movement from their new book, The Curve of Her Arm, published by Night Ballet Press.

The book combines free verse and haiku in a collection of poems on the art and practice of qigong, an ancient healing practice that combines movement, breathing, and mindfulness.

Digital Databases for Genealogical Research

Calling all genealogists - from novice researchers to more seasoned professionals! Join us to explore digital databases that are sure to make an impact on your genealogical research. During this training, participants will explore a variety of free and paid services, as well as receive tips to maximize the quality of their research. 

Laptop computers will be made available to all participants, but participants are encouraged to bring their own devices.
Registration is required and is limited to 15 participants per session.
