Summer Reading Kickoff

Thursday, May 27, 2021 | 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Thanks to a grant from the Federal Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), awarded by the State Library of Ohio, Coshocton Library is kicking off their Summer Reading Program, "Tails and Tales," with a petting zoo.

Booking an appointment is a must and groups of 5 or less may book an appointment by clicking the "Booking an appointment" hyperlink or by phoning the Library or Branch. Appointment times will be strictly observed and families are asked to remain in their vehicle until 10 minutes prior to their petting time. Sanitizing stations will be available.

Come see mini-horses, mini-cows, sheep, alpacas and more!

Hot Diggity DOG

Thursday, May 27, 2021 | 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM

We will kick-off our Summer Reading Program "Tails and Tales" by offering a drive-by event at Coshocton Library. Cars and foot traffic will be directed to drive down our entrance off of Main Street and allowed to stop in a designated area. One representative from each family can pick up hot dogs (for their kids and teens), Capri Suns and a Summer Reading  Bag  with Beanstack information, a reading record and program details inside.

Should we have additional supplies at 7:00 p.m., these will be made available for adults until 7:30 p.m.
