1,000 Books Before Kindergarten

Help prepare your child for kindergarten by establishing a love of books and a habit of reading. Read a book to your child with the goal to read 1000 books before kindergarten.

How Can I Read 1,000 Books?

It's easy!

3 books a day for 1 year = 1,095 books
1 book a day for 3 years = 1,095 books

How Do I Join the Challenge?

There are two options!

Digital: Download the Beanstack Tracker app or go to coshoctonlibrary.beanstack.org and join the 1000 Books Before Kindergarten challenge.
Paper: Pick up a booklet at the library to keep track of books read.

Regardless of which option you choose, children may pick up a sticker at the library for every 100 books read. Upon the completion of 1,000 books read, they will receive a certificate!
