Spring Newsletter 2023

Spring Newsletter 2023 | March/April/May May is Older Americans Month Every May, the Administration for Community Living leads the nation’s observance of Older Americans Month. The 2023 theme, Aging Unbound, offers an opportunity to explore diverse aging experiences and how communities can combat stereotypes. To celebrate Older Americans Month, adults 55+ are invited to stop in the Coshocton Public Library or West Lafayette Branch Library during the month of May and enter their name in a prize drawing. Senior adults will find many programs and services happening at the library all throughout the year, not just during Older Americans Month! A couple of the recurring program series include Explore a World of Possibilities! and Coffee Chat for Readers. Two of the special programs coming up this spring for seniors are Medicare, Social Security, and You and Gadgets and Grandparents. For adults looking to improve their memory recall, activity kits are available to checkout from the library. Finally, the library offers homebound delivery services for those unable to visit the library in-person. For more information about this free service, please call 740-622-0956.
