Summer Food Service Program

Summer Food Service Program

From June 29 through August 17, the Coshocton Public Library will be a food distribution site for Children’s Hunger Alliance, an Ohio agency of the USDA. Children aged 0 to 18 or a parent/legal guardian* may pick up free, non-perishable box meals at the Coshocton Public Library. Five breakfast meals and five lunch meals will be available for each child to take home.

Meal pickups will be every Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Coshocton Public Library. No registration is required.

Each year, the U.S. Department of Agriculture partners with local organizations like the Coshocton Public Library to provide free meals to children when school is out for the summer. The USDA is an equal opportunity provider.

*Children do not need to be present at meal pickups. Parents/legal guardians may pick up meals for children within their households. We will just need the first name and last initial for each child. If parents/guardians are picking up meals for six or more children without the children being present, they must sign a certification that says the meals are intended for children in their household.
