Activity Kits
Activity kits are designed to accommodate senior adults who may be experiencing cognitive decline. Each kit includes at least one activity intended to support brain function, memory recall, and fine-motor skills, along with supportive literature for caretakers. Kits are available at the Main Library and may be checked out for 4 weeks.
Character Kits
Enjoy classic children's stories with a beloved literary character by your side. Characters include Brown Bear, Curious George, Elephant & Piggie, Little Blue Truck, Llama Llama, Thomas, and many more. Character kits are available to check out at both the Main Library and Branch Library and may be checked out for 2 weeks.
Cornhole Sets
Cornhole boards and bags are available to borrow at the Coshocton County District Library for adult and teen library cardholders and may be checked out for to 2 weeks. A parent/guardian signature is required for a teen card to be used.
Disc Golf Sets
Enjoy rounds of enjoyment at Eagle Ridge Disc Golf Course. Each disc golf set includes 1 driver disc, 1 mid-range disc, and 1 putter disc. The discs are available to borrow at the Main Library for adult and teen library cardholders and may be checked out for 2 weeks. A parent/guardian signature is required for a teen card to be used.
Giant Jenga
Giant Jenga is available to borrow at the Coshocton County District Library for adult and teen library cardholders and may be checked out for to 2 weeks. A parent/guardian signature is required for a teen card to be used.
Hotspots
Mobile hotspots are intended for those who would otherwise not have access to the Internet at home. The hotspots provide free Wi-Fi in areas with Internet-access capabilities. Hotspots are available to borrow from the Main Library and Branch Library for adult library cardholders and may be checked out for up to 2 weeks.
Launchpads
Playaway Launchpads are pre-loaded tablets with high-quality, ad-free learning apps and games, providing hours of interactive learning and play for children. Launchpads are available at both the Main Library and Branch Library and may be checked out for 1 week or used in the library.
Pickleball Sets
Four tournament-approved individual pickleball sets and two non-tournament-approved game sets are available to borrow at the Main Library and may be checked out for 2 weeks. This collection was made possible in thanks to the Coshocton Pickleball Club and Engage Pickleball.
Sensory Toys
Sensory toys are intended to provide a playful experience for the senses, to help develop motor skills for children or those with developmental disabilities, and to meet the needs of visual, auditory, tactile, oral and proprioceptive learners. The toys are available to borrow at the Coshocton County District Library.
