The Coshocton Friends of the Library help promote the library and literacy in our community. Library programs and events are made possible thanks to the generous support of the Friends, with funding coming from membership dues, operation of the Books Galore Book Store, and an annual sale and silent auction in August.
The support received from the Friends is vital to the library and always appreciated. Whether you volunteer your time and talents or simply pay your annual membership dues, the Friends would be happy to have you as a member of their team. Membership applications are available at the library. If you would like to donate to the Friends as a non-member, checks may be made payable to "Friends of the Library" and mailed to the Coshocton County District Library at 655 Main Street, Coshocton, Ohio 43812.

Please check the library's Events Calendar for closings.
Donation Policy
The Friends accept donations of gently used books, DVDs, and magazines on older than 1 year. Items may be brought into the library, limited to one box at a time. For the full list of acceptable and non-acceptable donations, view the Donation Policy. Please keep in mind - if you wouldn't buy it, don't donate it.

Volunteer opportunities are discussed at the monthly meetings. Opportunities may include working the bookstore, helping with the Annual Sale, or assisting with programs. Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month at noon in the large meeting room of the Coshocton County District Library.
