COVID-19 Journal Project

The Coshocton Public Library would like to encourage Coshocton County residents of all ages to write down their thoughts, feelings, and experiences during these days of the COVID-19 pandemic. Our library has a wonderful Local History Room and we would like to create a collection (once we get back in the building!) of written reflections on this important historical moment. Instructions for contributing journal entries to the library will come later. For now, just start writing to create a valuable resource for future generations.

Teen Art Competition

We know just how creative Coshocton teens are! Create a work of art that simply expresses how you see and/or feel in the present moment and submit it to youth@coshoctonlibrary.org by 5 p.m. on Friday, April 3rd to be eligible to win a prize and have your work displayed on the Coshocton Public Library System’s Facebook page. Click here for the complete Contest Guidelines.

Scholastic Bookfest

Scholastic's Home Base Virtual Book Fest is an online celebration where authors and kids can engage with each other in exciting new ways! From themed costume contests to online Q&As to trivia events, kids around the world can enjoy interacting with their favorite authors in real-time. Library Temporarily Closed

Due to COVID-19, the Coshocton Public Library system is closed as of March 16 and will remain closed until further notice. While the physical library is closed, patrons are reminded that digital services are still available. Staff can be reached by email at info@coshoctonlibrary.org. Patrons are reminded to enjoy items that are currently checked out for a little longer, as returns are not being accepted. Overdue fines will be forgiven. Wi-Fi is available outside of the library building.
