Summer Reading Program Kickoff ๐

Coshocton Community Room, 637 Chestnut St.
Stop by the Community Room to enjoy activities, cookies, a craft, and a storytelling performance by professional storyteller, Kevin Cordi.
Earn a chance to win a door prize by signing up for Summer Reading! Prizes will be available for all ages.
Children (newborn - entering 6th grade)
Children may pick up their summer reading materials at the Main Library, West Lafayette Branch, or on the Bookmobile. For every 5 hours of reading (or being read to), an entry is earned for a chance to win a grand prize! Prizes and reading incentives are made possible thanks to the generosity of community donors.

Teens (entering 7th grade - entering 12th grade)

Adults
Adults are invited to participate in the summer checkout challenge at the Main Library or West Lafayette Branch. For every five checkouts, earn an entry in the grand prize drawing! Prizes are made possible thanks to the generosity of community donors.

Bookmobile
The Bookmobile continues to travel Coshocton County all summer long! To see stops near you, check out the 2026 Summer Bookmobile Schedule. Participate in summer reading in June and July for a chance to win a prize! Grand prize drawings for children, young adults, and adults will be held July 31. Trinket toys will be available for children 12 & younger throughout the summer.

- Collaborative Summer Library Program (CSLP): book recommendations for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, early readers, middle grade students, young adults, and adults
2026 Summer Reading Donors
The library would like to thank community businesses, organizations, and individuals for their generous support of the 2026 Summer Reading Program. The Summer Reading Program, including crafts, activities, programs, prizes, and other reading incentives, are provided entirely by community members: Summer Reading Donors.
Beanstack Instructions
Beanstack is the web/mobile option for participating in the Summer Reading Program. Beanstack users will earn virtual badges, incentives, and grand prize drawing entries as they record their reading activity (children/teens) or checkout activity (adults).
Signing Up on the Beanstack App
- Download the Beanstack Tracker app.
- Search for COSHOCTON.
- Tap on our library.
- Follow the steps to register for an individual or family. Beanstack allows families to be linked together, so all family members can be accessed with one login.
Signing Up on a Desktop Computer or PC
- Go to coshoctonlibrary.beanstack.org.
- Click on "Register an Individual or Family."
