The Coshocton Public Library System encourages all residents to give to the community while having overdue fines forgiven through the Annual Non-Perishable Food Drive. Bring non-perishable food items or pet supplies to the Coshocton Public Library or the West Lafayette Branch beginning December 1st through December 29th to have overdue fines forgiven and help those in need. Happy Holidays from your friends at the Coshocton Public Library System.
Please note that someone has “spoofed” the library’s phone number, allowing this person to make calls from their phone, with the number appearing on caller IDs as the library’s phone number.
In the cases that have been reported to the library, the caller identifies themselves as someone from the library, and tells the person they are calling because money is owed for library materials.
If this happens to you, please know that the library will never call to collect money from you for any reason. The library will never ask you to provide any credit card or banking information over the phone.
If you should receive a suspicious call that appears to be from the library, please contact the library immediately at (740) 622-0956. The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Department has been made aware of the situation. We apologize for any inconvenience.
The Coshocton Public Library System will be closed on Thursday, July 4th in observance of the Independence Day holiday. For your convenience, return boxes are available outside of the library 24/7, plus you can still access the Ohio Digital Library, online catalog, and online databases even when the library is closed. The library will resume normal hours on Friday, July 5th. We apologize for any inconvenience.
The next Coffee Chat for Readers is Wednesday, March 11th at the West Lafayette Branch Library. This Reader's Advisory program will help you decide what to read next! Registration is required.
The West Lafayette Adult Book Discussion Club is held the 1st Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the activities room at Lafayette Pointe, 620 East Main Street, conveniently located across the street from the West Lafayette Branch Library.
