Join us for special
summer editions of Lapsit every other week during the Summer Reading Program!
Following our summer reading theme, oceans of possibilities, many of our books
will include water or water animals and some of our activities may include
water! If the weather permits, some activities may occur on our East
Lawn.
From the comfort of a caregiver's lap, babies and toddlers are
given the chance of developing early literacy skills together at the
library. Utilizing music, rhyming, movement, and song (all in a fun package)
fosters a love of books and reading. Exploring sensory bins, parachute play,
and the simplest of crafts offers opportunities for non-threatening
socialization.
